“Mobile Academic Research Support (MARS) Project” has been designed for researchers to improve and support their research methodology. The MARS project is based on the mobile performance support system (MPSS) concept which meets the needs of researchers by providing search features and decision support capability. In other words, MPSS is a system that can rapidly provide access to detailed procedures, definitions, examples, case studies, references and then guide the user by showing the processes step by step. MPSS holds promise in accomplishing complex tasks for educational and training purposes and provides mobile access to support learning and performance. Furthermore, the MARS design model combines course, online resources, advisor, help, communication and my process tools. It provides access to the information on a variety of mobile devices such as i-Phone, Nokia, g-Phone, etc.
